<div important>WARNING: When using OMERO-DropBox, do not overwrite or modify any image files (this is frequently happening when users are working with the Leica SP5 II and LIF-Files) once they are residing in the DropBox folder!

Every time you do this, another image import will be triggered, leading to duplicates of your already saved images in the OMERO-Database. In the worst case scenario, especially when saving quickly multiple times, this can lead to corrupted data!

If you want to frequently save during your microscope sessions, save the data inside your home directory first - usually H:\ - then move it over to the DropBox folder - usually X:\ - at the very end of your session. Once your images are successfully uploaded to OMERO, you may safely delete them from your DropBox. This will not affect the images on OMERO in any way and does not count as overwrite or modification.</div>
