In order to establish a safe and efficient research environment, the following steps are mandatory for new users at the OICE:

1. Contact Tristan Nowak (Tristan.Nowak@fau.de) to request an account in the OICE's single sign-on system, which is comprised of a variety of IT services, including this wiki.
2. Request an appointment with Ralf Palmisano or an authorized staff member to receive an introduction to the OICE premises, including its lab area and emergency regulations.
3. If you plan to bring samples to the OICE which fall under S1- or S2-regulations, you have to provide the OICE staff with prove that you have received the mandatory yearly safety lecture.
