 We have a fully S2/S1 GenTech certified biochemical laboratory. In addition all commercial microscopes are under the same safety regulations. To work within this premises implies some preliminararay administrative adjustments - before - work at OICE can be performed.
-Every group working under S1 or S2 conditions has to bring a copy of the Z-Form that has been acknowledged by the authorities from the Regierung of Unterfranken to the responsible PI. Also we need the so called Aktenzeichen connected to that approval to be delivered. There is no further approval neccessary. We just have to record the projects working under one of the GenTech safety regulations.

 A proof that the scientist has attended the annual saftey instruction regarding GenTech, Biological Safety and Work with Harmful Chemicals at his department has to be delievered.

 If you want to bring in chemicals or biological substances, we have to make sure that the are listed at our local database, which can be easily done.
